Drawing is the beginning for most of my work, and for as long as I can remember I have made drawings. When planning a printmaking project, I use drawing and repeating forms to reinterpret my subject matter. Translating drawing to printmaking adds another layer, and allows for variations and an element of surprise when pulling a print.
