
Eileen Ferara is a visual artist who incorporates a variety of media in her work, including printmaking, book arts, drawing, and paper making. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, her work explores our relationship to the environment. Her work has been included in many exhibits in the United States: The Center for Book Arts, Field Projects, Drawing Rooms and The Walsh Gallery among others. Ferara recently completed an artist residency at Fire Island National Seashore in New York and was a 2019 artist-in-residence with the Eileen S. Kaminsky Family Foundation at Mana Contemporary in Jersey City. She was awarded a Puffin Foundation grant in 2017. Her work is in the collection of the William Paterson University Galleries, The King St Stephens Museum of Hungary, Memorial Sloan Kettering and numerous private collections. She has an MFA from the School of Visual Arts, and a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design. She was born in New York City, and currently lives and works in Jersey City, NJ.
